Description
Borrow a ring from a spectator. Show it to the audience before putting it under the table for two or three seconds.
When you take your hands out again, you hold a box closed by a lid (sort of an Okito-looking box) which you place on the table in front of you.
Now tell the spectator that their ring is inside the box and invite them to take it out. Start to unscrew the lid and hand the box to them. They must unscrew for quite some time to get the lid off. It will take the unfortunate person about thirty seconds to open the box, take his ring out and screw the lid on again.
So now, how did the magician manage to put the ring inside the box in just two seconds?
