Vintage Adams’ “Live Baby Rabbit Joke”

From an old magician’s estate purchase. An old Adams’ gag (copyright 1939) that can still be funny today. A cardboard box is shown with the words “This box contains a Live Baby Rabbit…Handle With Care. When someone asks to see the baby rabbit the box is opened to show what appears to be some rabbit poop with a message that says “Well, he WAS here, but he got away.”
