This appears like a regular 10 inch wand, and can be used as one.
But, when required, you can balance it sticking out more than halfway off a table or any other hard surface.
If they think the wand is weighted you can just turn it over and balance it at the opposite end to leave them completely confused.
Note: This comes unfilled with sand that you must supply. You can use sand from a pet shop or from the beach as long as it is clean and dry.
