This is a pre-owned book that is in amazing condition for being well over 100 years old! 1st edition; published in 1902 by The Charles T. Powner Company, Chicago, Illinois; soft covers; 159 pages; page size: 4-3/8″ x 6-5/8″. Red, and black pictorial wraps, cover of a Magician doing card manipulations, with table in rear and cards rising out of a tumbler, and cards strewn between the Magicians hands. The pages are slightly toned and somewhat brittle but are not damaged as of this writing.

This book provides instructions for various card tricks suitable for both professionals and amateurs. Roterberg covers a range of techniques, from basic card handling to more advanced sleights. The book is designed for parlor and stage entertainments, making it useful for magicians performing in different settings.
