Clear Tube With Mirror Tube Insert With Elastic Pull Attached

This came from an old magician’s estate purchase. No instructions. Original use is not known. Selling as is.

The outer tube measures 11-3/8″ long by 1-5/8″ OD in diameter. It has a notch on one end (see picture). It has four thin black tape lines running down its  length with one inch wide reflective tape bands at each end.

The secret inner tube measures 10-3/4″ long by 1-1/2″ OD in diameter. It has a piece of mirror finish mylar running  down the inside for most of its length which divides the interior of the tube into two separate sections. There is an eight inch long doubled piece of white elastic cord attached to the end of the inner tube and attached to the elastic is a seven inch long piece of doubled monofilament clear line.

The tubes are pre-owned and have some scuffs and scratches from prior use but are still good and unbroken. As mentioned above, how this set-up was used is not known. Maybe you recognize this and have a use for it. Selling as is.
