Description

From an old magician’s estate purchase. This vintage card trick (1976) from Jose de la Torre comes with the original instructions and cards. The specially prepared roughed cards are well used and show the discolored sections of roughing fluid from age. Most of the roughed sections still seem to work okay. Maybe someone would have a use for this and perhaps could locate the proper picture back playing cards to make this up once again using a roughing stick or roughing fluid. Selling as is.

Effect: A story about where a gambler shows a weak five card poker hand. Using his magic he changes the weak poker hand into a much better hand of five of a kind – one more than possible. Because he was caught cheating he gets shot. The story comes to close when all the backs of the cards change to flower design backs which are then placed on the gambler’s grave.
