MR. BAL-OON by Roger Siegel – Vest Pocket Card In Balloon

Description

From an old magician’s estate purchase. You receive the instructions and miniature pack of playing cards as pictured. You must supply your own balloons.

Effect: Spectator selects a card and places it back in the deck. Magician shuffles cards, spreads out cards, and shows that the spectator’s card has disappeared from the deck. Magician says, “The card must have floated away. But being a magician, there is nothing to worry about. I have my assistant here.”

Magician then proceeds to pull out a little Chinese balloon face, which we have named “Mr. BAL-OON.” I wonder if you can help me out again – I’m in trouble. My friend and I have lost his card. Do you think you can tell me what card it was because my friend will not provide me with the information.”

“Come on. Don’t be stubborn. Please tell us the name of the card. You’re always full of hot air, and now when I really need your help you won’t say a thing! Come on. Spit it out, I know you have the name of my friend’s card on the tip of your tongue. Now I’m really angry. I’ll squeeze it out of you!”

Magician squeezes the balloon and Mr. BAL-OON’s tongue thrusts out to reveal the spectator’s card!
