Effect: A soft white piece of rope is caused to magically become rigid and stand upright in the magician’s hand. Whenever the performer wishes he can blow on the rope and it will become limp and fall down. For a surprising finish the performer runs his hand down the rope and it turns into a red silk handkerchief.
